Karen Schaaf is a nurse practitioner based in Oklahoma with over 15 years of clinical experience. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2005 and earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification in 2022. Karen is passionate about supporting individuals through their mental health journey and helping them improve their overall quality of life. Her focus is on guiding patients through their care with clarity, compassion, and practical support.
I believe patients should be treated with respect and care and give them the best outcome. I will do what is needed to give the best care to the individual. I look at the patient holistically. I provide options for my patient and make sure that they are given the highest level of care and education so that they can make an informed decision about what is best for them.
The first visit is to get to know you. I will ask questions so that I can understand what you need. My goal is to find out how I can serve the individual the best.
