Gregory Stavaridis is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with full prescriptive authority in psychiatric treatments. He has received undergraduate degrees in psychology from the University of New Hampshire (magna cum laude), in nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions (cum laude), and master’s degree in nursing science at California State University (cum laude).
Internships include Harvard-affiliated McLean Hospital, considered by many in the field to be a world leader in psychiatry. Rotations include Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Pacific Clinics, and St. Joseph’s Hospital emergency department. Through his own personal history, he is quite familiar with many symptoms his patients describe, and believes this allows him an amount of insight and compassion into their needs and care. Personal interests include yoga (former instructor), backcountry hiking/camping, mountain biking, skiing, and drumming.
